Our other Torah scrolls are outside the shul, waiting at the top of the steps. We are ready to greet the new sefer Torah.

Paul Sperling from Ohev Shalom in the middle of Noyes Drive is holding the Renoim that will be used to "crown" the new Torah scroll. In the background you can see one of the many red cones used to stop traffic for this occasion.

Welcoming the new Torah at the shul. We turn right and face the steps leading up to the shul. The other Torah scrolls are at the top of the steps.

Being escorted inside the shul. The Chuppa is taken down because it will not fit through the shul doors. Once inside we all hurry into the large room for dancing and singing.

Dancing with all of the Torah Scrolls in the shul. The singing is loud and every one is clapping and to the melodies. Candy is distributed to the children "sweeting" the day even more.
